1" Silurian Starfish (Australaster) Fossil - Australia

This is a plate of sea star (Australaster giganteus) fossils from the Humevale Formation in Victoria, Australia. They are Upper Silurian in age, or approximately 426 million years old. There are multiple brachiopods preserved within the rock as well.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
