3" Ordovician Starfish Fossil With Edrioasteroids - Morocco
This is a 3" wide, Ordovician-aged starfish (Petraster?) from the Tiouririne Formation near Kaid rami, Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidation of iron.
There are also a couple of Edrioasteroids present on the rock. There is one repaired crack running through the rock and the starfish with some restoration along the line of repair.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
