4.7" Fossil Turtle Humerus - Hell Creek Formation
This is a nicely preserved, 4.7" long fossil turtle humerus from the Hell Creek Formation in South Dakota. There is only some minimal erosion on the ends of the bone.
The Hell Creek Formation
Renowned for both its age and rich sedimentary layers, the Hell Creek Formation is one of the most intensively studied fossil-bearing regions on Earth.
