5.7" Fossil Leaf Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is an interesting fossil leaf plate from the Green River Formation, Utah. It contains two dark, well-preserved leaves: a larger (2.8") leaf fragment of the genus Macginitiea and a smaller one (1.5"), likely of the genus Ulmus.

While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
