6.4" Ammonite Fossil On Custom Metal Stand - Art

This beautiful cut and polished ammonite from Madagascar is a displayable work of art. It comes with a custom made, black metal stand to show it off. The stand was produced by a local shop, Steel Bamboo.

The ammonite itself is 110 million years old and quarried from Mahajanga Province, Madagascar. It's been sliced in half so that the agatized interior can be seen. Many of the chambers are preserved as crystal lined pockets.

Half of the ammonite is included along with the custom made metal stand.
