6.9" Petrified Wood (Cypress) Slab - McDermitt, Oregon

Here is a beautiful, 6.9" wide slab of petrified cypress wood from the world famous deposits near McDermitt, Oregon. This is some of the prettiest petrified wood out there and this specimen is no exception. It displays fabulous rich wood tones and well pronounced tree rings. One side of the specimen has been polished to a mirror like finish.

This specimen comes from one of the premier petrified forests in the world spanning over 100 square miles on the Oregon/Nevada border. These fossils come with an acrylic display stand to help show off this magnificent specimen.
