8.2" Petrified Elm Wood Slab - Hoodoo Creek, Oregon

This is a brilliant 8.2" wide, "rip cut" slab of petrified elm wood from Hoodoo Creek near La Grande, Oregon. It's Miocene in age and has fiery hues of oranges, yellows and reds.

The quality of the polish on this piece is second to none with none of the scuff marks or dull spots seen in lower quality material. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
