.8" Damselfly (Zygoptera) Fossil - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a fossil damselfly (suborder Zygoptera) from the Green River Formation in Utah. It's remarkably well detailed and has a length of .8" long. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse plant flora and insect fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
