8" Petrified Tree Fern (Tietea) Round - Brazil

This is an exceptional 8" wide round of Permian-aged petrified wood from the tree fern, Tietea singularis. The inner wood detail is very fascinating and displays a mixture of pink and beige coloration. It has been cut flat on both sides and polished to a glossy finish, revealing the very interesting fossilized internal structure of the plant.

It displays nicely on the accompanied acrylic display stand.
