9.1" Plate With Four Fossil Brittle Stars (Ophiura) - Morocco

This 9.1" wide piece of limestone from the Ktaoua Formation contains a cluster of four, orange brittle star (Ophiura sp.) fossils. They have quite a bit of detail and the orange coloration is due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
