9.5" Cretaceous Fossil Molluscs In Limestone - Texas
This is an interesting piece of sea floor packed with mollusc (Gryphaea sp., Lopha quadriplicata, and Pecten sp.) fossils, collected from the Weno Formation of Grayson County, Texas. These fossils are Late Cretaceous in age or approximately 99.5 - 98.5 million years old.
Most of the rock has been left in its natural state and the fossils have been exposed around both sides of the specimen.
Comes with an acrylic-metal display stand.
