9" Wide Ordovician Brittle Star (Ophiura) Multiple Plate - Morocco

 
 
This is a 9.2" wide plate containing four complete fossil brittlestars. The brittlestars are of the genus Ophiura and come from the the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. The orange coloration is natural and due to the oxidization of iron pyrite. The brittlestars average about 2" wide.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.
