Artistically Displayed Polished Goniatite - 6 Inches

This is a nearly 400 million year old Goniatite fossil from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco that has been made into an interesting piece of art. It's been polished and the rock around it sculpted to create an artistic display. The plate itself is about 6 inches wide and it comes with an acrylic display stand.

A Goniatite is a type of ammonite that first appeared during the Middle Devonian about 390 million years ago. They are mines in huge numbers in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and are often sculpted into decorative pieces.
