9.8" Petrified Wood Slab - Idaho

Here is a beautiful, 9.8" wide slab of petrified wood that was collected from Beacon Hill in Idaho. It displays fabulous rich wood tones and well pronounced tree rings. One side of the specimen has been polished to a mirror like finish.

The locality was the only information that was provided with this wood slab, hence the lack of info regarding formation, age and/or species.
