Breathtaking Boedaspis Trilobite With Prep Sequence!

The extremely rare Boedapsis is arguably the most spectacular trilobite fossil in the world. It is a "dream trilobite" from many trilobite and fossil collectors. Not only are they very rare, but they take nearly a month of preparation time (100-200 hours) by a master trilobite preparator to complete. It's 2.1" long and artistically displayed on a 5x4 inch chunk of matrix.

This prone specimen is simply breathtaking with its pustulose, butterscotch colored exoskeleton, and long flowing spines, many of which are free-standing. One question regarding many Russian trilobites is the level of restoration present. This particular specimens leaves nothing up for debate as there is a full photographic record of the prep sequence showing this specimen has ALMOST NO RESTORATION. A few photos are attached the listing but you can view the full preparation sequence here.
