Cornuproetus Trilobite With Gerastos

This is an good sized example of the Proetida trilobite Cornuproetus cornutus from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. It displays the diagnostic features of this species including a granulose cephalon and long swept-back genal spines. Just an inch away from it is a small specimen of another Proetida trilobite, Gerastos granulosus

There is only a tiny amount of restoration on the Cornuproetus to fix some missing shell where a repaired crack runs through the tail (2%)
