Eight Fused Cretaceous Fossil Fish Vertebrae - Kansas

This is a 5.8", eight vertebrae association from Kansas. The vertebrae are in good condition with vertebra and several rib proximal ends visible. This specimen does not show enough diagnostic markers to determine an identification with any degree of certainty. It is likely an Ichthyodectiformes; this is the family that includes Xiphactinus and Ichthyodectes.
