Five Large, Ordovician, Fossil Brittle Stars (Ophiura) - Morocco

This is a 14" wide slab of limestone containing five, bright orange, fossil brittle stars (Ophiura sp) from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. The brittle star fossils are highly detailed with the largest being about 6.2" across. Also present on the rock are two poorly preserved trilobites, a small crinoid and multiple brachiopod fossils.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
