Four Ordovician, Fossil Brittle Stars (Ophiura) - Morocco

This is a 17" wide slab of limestone containing four, bright orange, fossil brittle stars (Ophiura) from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. The brittle star fossils are highly detailed with the largest being about 6.8" across. Also present on the rock are two poorly preserved trilobites, a small crinoid and other fossil fragments.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
