Huge, 2.8" Jurassic Urchin (Dickisicidaris) - Rare Species

This is a huge, 2.8" wide Dickisicidaris turbeti sea urchin from the Middle Cretaceous deposits near Garsif, Morocco. The surrounding limestone matrix has been painstakingly removed from around it. This is one of the rarer types of fossil urchins found in the area.
