Multiple Diplomystus Fossil Fish

This is a large example of a 50 million year old fossil, Diplomystus dentatus. It was collected at the Fossil Lake Safari Quarry near Kemmerer, Wyoming, in the Green River Formation. It's nicely preserved with great detail including fins, scales and backbone. The 3.9 inch long fish is preserved on a 4.5X5 inch slab of shale. There is also another small diplomystus (2.6").

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
