Multiple Knightia Fossil Fish - Green River Formation

This is a good example of a 50 million year old fossil, Knightia eocaena. It was collected at the Fossil Lake Safari Quarry near Kemmerer, Wyoming, in the Green River Formation. It's nicely preserved with great detail including fins, scales and backbone. The 4.3 inch long fish is preserved on a 8.5x6.5 inch slab of shale.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
