Paleocene Fossil Fruit (Nordenskioldia) - North Dakota

This is a beautiful fossil fruit of the genus Nordenskioldia that was collected from the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is finely detailed and the light preservation contrasts well against the dark orangish-brown rock.
