Permian Fossil Reptile Bones in Situ - Oklahoma
Here we have a 3" wide section of rock containing articulated vertebrae and associated bones of a Lower Permian aged reptile (unidentified) from the Arckbuckle Group near Lawton, Oklahoma. This permian reptile material is found within cave fissure fill deposits, and this specimen likely comes from Richard's Spur Quarry.
One edge of the rock has been cut flat for presentation.
