Rare, 2.62" Fossil Mackerel Shark (Parotodus) Tooth - Georgia

This is a rare, 2.62" long fossil Mackerel Shark tooth of the species Parotodus benedeni, collected from a river in South Carolina. These are found associated with the Megalodon teeth but are hundreds of times more rare to find. This specimen is very large for Benedini teeth.
