Remarkable 8.3" Priscacara Serrata Fossil Fish - Wyoming
This is a very large, 8.3" Priscacara serrata from the Green River Formation of Wyoming. This is one of the more uncommon fish found in the quarries. It was found in the famous, 18 inch layer at Warfield's Quarry near Kemmerer. The 18 inch layer is famous for it's dark colored, and highly detailed fish specimens.
The specimen is located on a 14x11" rectangularly cut slab on rock. This is one of the best preserved specimens that I've seen recently with all of spines fully fanned out.
It comes with a display stand.
