.6" Small Partial Dinosaur Phalynx - Hell Creek Formation
This is a partial phalanx bone of a small dinosaur. Based on size, it's likely from a raptor, however there is too little bone present to provid an accurate identification. It's .6" long and comes from the Hell Creek Formation of Bowman County, North Dakota. This specimen is composed of the distal head of the phalanx where it articulated with the adjacent toe bone in life.
