Tiger Shark Tooth Fossil

Here is a wonderful example of the ancient shark Galeocerdo cuveri, a tiger shark. It is .8 inches long, exhibits great serrations and the wonderful coloration that Bone Valley is so known for. The root on this tooth is pretty substantial and the serrations and tip show some wear from feeding.
