Very Rare Cyphaspis Eximia With Four "Horns"

This is a very rare type of Cyphaspis from near Ofaten, Morocco. It has exceptionally long spines, and four extending tubercles or spines on the front of it's head. The preparation on this specimen is very nice, with all of the spines prepared completely free-standing. I've only seen a few examples of this species compared to the other types of Cyphaspis which are rather common trilobites.

This type of Cyphaspis has been newly described as Cyphaspis eximia in the following paper.
