BASALT FOR SALE

Basalt is a volcanic (igneous) rock that forms when low viscosity lava rich in magnesium and iron cools quickly. It's composition is plagioclase feldspar, pyroxene, olivine, biotite, hornblende, quartz, nepheline or leucite, and amphibole. Basalt is the most common rock type in the Earth's crust and makes up most of the ocean floor.
