NEVADA WONDERSTONE FOR SALE

Nevada wonderstone formed as a result of volcanic activity around 12 million years ago. Volcanic matter was ejected and spread around Lake Lahontan, a lake which covered much of western Nevada during this time period. Following silica rich water replacements and oxidation of iron based minerals (hematite, pyrite, and goethite), this mineral formation gained its stunning banded appearance.
