WULFENITE CRYSTALS SPECIMENS
Wulfenite is a lead-based molybdate mineral popular among collectors due to its vibrant coloration and interesting crystal shapes. This mineral can appear in colors ranging anywhere from yellow to bright orange, red, and occasionally brown. Typically forming as tabular, stubby, or pyramidal crystals, this unique mineral can be both brilliantly transparent and opaque. Wulfenite has been known to have fluorescent qualities under shortwave and longwave UV lighting. To this day, wulfenite is still used as a secondary ore of molybdenum. The most important localities of wulfenite come from mines in Arizona, Mexico, and Morocco.
