1.55" Gemmy, Sharply Terminated Green Tourmaline Crystal - Brazil

This is a beautiful, 1.55" long green tourmaline crystal that was collected from the Aricanga Mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It has a pristine termination and bears excellent luster, coloration, and translucency.

It has been mounted to an acrylic display base for aesthetic presentation.

Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Schorl, or black tourmaline, is the most common form of tourmaline, and has been used for everything from jewelry to piezoelectric guitar pickups.
