About Nuummite
Nuummite is a rare amphibole rock that consists of minerals like gedrite and anthophyllite, often exhibiting shimmering and iridescent flashes as a result of exsolution lamellae formed by gedrite and anthophyllite. Often pyrite, pyrrhotite, and chalcopyrite can be found in the rock as well. It's named after the area of Nuuk in Greenland, where it was found.
