1.6" Fibrous Pink Wupatkiite Formation - Cameron, Arizona

Wupatkiite is a rare, secondary mineral that occurs as a product of oxidation of cobalt, nickel, molybdenum and uranium primary mineralization. Formations of wupatkiite have only been documented as coming from a few locations, including Arizona (USA), Costa Rica, Russia, Europe and Cyprus. It is named for the Wupatki Indian pueblos, a National Monument that is near its type locality of Cameron, Arizona.
