This is a polished pendant made from K2 granite that contains orbs of azurite, collected from the Skardu area near northern Pakistan. It has been set in 925 sterling silver and measures 1.6" tall (including loop).

A 24" silver plated chain with a lobster clasp is included with the pendant. You will receive the exact pendant pictured.

K2 granite, also known as "raindrop azurite" and "K2 Jasper", is a granite formation that accumulated small blue spherical formations of azurite. Occasionally, small specks of green malachite formations can also be found throughout the granite. This type of azurite granite forms near the base of the famous mountain known as K2, the second highest mountain on Earth located near the border between Pakistan and China.
