1.8" Carved Magnetite, Pyrite, Actinolite, and Chalcopyrite Turtle - Peru

This is a beautiful polished turtle sculpture carved from a piece of stone comprised of magnetite, pyrite, actinolite, and chalcopyrite, collected in Peru. This little guy measures " long and its glossy polish really brings out the natural metallic luster of the magnetite, pyrite, and brassy chalcopyrite.

This magnetite-rich specimen exhibits temporary magnetic properties when held near a permanent magnet.
