2.6" Native Silver in Matrix - Morocco
This is a 2.6" wide specimen of native silver in a dolomite-rich matrix. It was mined from the Bouismas Mine in the Zagora Province of Morocco. The silver has been acid etched free of some of the matrix which was originally surrounding it, revealing the beautiful plant-like branching structure of the silver. The pink color of the dolomite can likely be attributed to the presence of cobalt or manganese impurities.
Comes with an acrylic display stand.
