2.6" Red Calcite Crystal Cluster - Santa Eulalia, Mexico

This is a plate of brick red calcite crystals from the Santa Eulalia Mining District near Chihuahua, Mexico. The rich, red coloration is caused by inclusions of hematite within the calcite. The entire specimen is 2.6x1.7x1.2" with the largest crystal measuring 1" across.
