3.1" Polished Conglomerate Stone Sphere

This is a 3.1" wide sphere of a naturally occurring conglomerate with beautiful red and grey coloration. Similar conglomerate material is often marketed with the name "fruit jasper", "pudding stone", "jelly bean jasper", and more, mainly depending on the location they come from and the colors they display. The location this conglomerate came from is unknown.

Comes with an acrylic ring display stand.

A "conglomerate" is a coarse-grained, clastic sedimentary rock composed of rounded gravel, pebbles, and cobbles (larger than 2mm) cemented together within a finer-grained matrix like silica, calcite, or iron oxide. It forms in high-energy environments like riverbeds and beaches, resembling natural concrete.
