3.5" Blue Polka Dot Stone (Apatite & Cleavelandite) Egg

This is a 3.5" wide, polished stone egg from Madagascar. It resembles K2 granite from Pakistan which is a granite-like stone with copper deposits scattered throughout, creating blue and green spherical formations within the granite. The trade name for this Madagascar material is misleading considering the blue spots are instead apatite and the matrix is primarily cleavelandite.
