4" Polished Chrome Opal Sphere - Western Australia

This is an 4" wide, polished sphere made of chrome opal from near the town of Newman in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. The sphere has streaks and windows of chrome chalcedony which is dark green in color and translucent. The green color in the stone is due to the presence of chromium.

It comes with an acrylic ring display stand.
