This is a very attractive, 5.3 x 4.3" cluster butterscotch colored selenite crystals. Comes with an acrylic display stand. This form of selenite is distinctive to the Pernatty Lagoon at Mt. Gunson, Australia.

Selenite is a crystalline of gypsum, a common mineral that forms during the evaporation of salt rich waters. It's very soft, and the crystals tend to be partially translucent with coloration being due to the presence of other minerals.
