This is a beautiful polished stone skull carved out of autumn jasper. It measures 5" from front to back. The craftsmanship on this skull is excellent, with accurate proportions, and fully rendered zygomatic arch, mandible and nasal cavities.

Autumn jasper is the trade name for a variety of jasper featuring warm, mottled fall coloration including oranges, greens, and browns. It commonly has veins of white and colorless agate throughout, with occasional blue agate veining.
