7.2" Cut/Polished Opalised Serpentine - Western Australia

This is a 7.2" tall, cut & polished section of Opalised Serpentine mined in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. One side is polished to a mirror like finish and the base is cut flat making for a beautiful decorative display.

The stone has streaks and windows of chrome chalcedony which is dark green in color and translucent. The green color in the stone is due to the presence of Chromium.
