.95" Rough Oregon Fire Opal
This is a beautiful .95" section of fire opal, collected in the remote mountains of Eastern Oregon. It is known for its vivid orange and yellow hues, obtaining its fiery colors from trace amounts of iron. Unlike many opals, it can be transparent, glowing brightly when lit from behind.

About Oregon Fire Opal
