Clearance Lot: Polished K2 Granite Pocket Stones - 36 Pieces
This is a clearance lot of 36 polished K2 granite pocket stones from the Skardu area of Pakistan. Each specimen has been entirely polished to a glossy finish and features spots of blue azurite. These specimens measure anywhere between 1.6" to 2.8".
K2 granite, also known as "raindrop azurite" and "K2 Jasper", is a granite formation that accumulated small blue spherical formations of azurite. Occasionally, small specks of green malachite formations can also be found throughout the granite. This type of azurite granite forms near the base of the famous mountain known as K2, the second highest mountain on Earth located near the border between Pakistan and China.
