Tumbled Indonesian Blue Amber (3/4" Size) - Fluorescent

These are small pieces of tumbled, blue amber from Indonesia. The pieces range from 3/4 to 1" in width. Being a natural stone, the stones vary in exact shape, color and patterning. The photos of this amber include a backlit photo (orange-red color), a photo with direct light that shows the blue effect, and a photo of the amber under long wave UV (vibrant blue color).

Amber is fossilized tree resin that frequently contains inclusions such as plant matter, fungi, and insects. This amber comes from Indonesia and is believed to have formed during the mid-late Miocene, about 10-20 million years ago or older.
