1.45" Detailed Hollardops Trilobite - Foum Zguid, Morocco
This is a detailed 1.45" long, dark brown trilobite (Hollardops aithassainorum) colllected from the Timrhanrhart Formation near Foum Zguid, Morocco. It is laid out prone with a chocolate-brown shell preservation and it has no restoration.
About Trilobites
Trilobites were a very diverse group of extinct marine arthropods. They first appeared in the fossil record in the Early Cambrian (521 million years ago) and went extinct during the Permian mass extinction (250 million years ago).
