1" Fossil Horse (Mesohippus) Teeth Association - South Dakota

These are two naturally associated teeth from the primitive horse Mesohippus, from the Scenic Member of the Brule Formation in South Dakota. It is Oligocene in age, or approximately 32 million years old. They are held together by a thin section of rock and are likely from two separate horses.

Comes with an acrylic display case.
